Mr Rauh is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

He has a wide training and experience in general orthopaedics and trauma. His area of special interest includes knee arthroscopy (key hole surgery) total knee replacement and a wide range of adult foot and ankle sugery.

Peter B Rauh was born in Swindon, Wiltshire.
​
After university degrees in America and the UK, he qualified in medicine from St George’s Hospital, London in 1992. Following basic surgical training in London, he completed his orthopaedic training on the Southwest Thames rotation based from St George’s Hospital. This included a year Fellowship at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
He has been working as a full-time Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in joint replacement and Ankle and Foot surgery at Salisbury District Hospital since 2003.
Mr. Rauh recently left Salisbury District hospital to focus solely on his practice at New Hall Hospital, Bodenham, Salisbury.
Peter lives with his wife and children near Salisbury. He enjoys his family, garden, hiking, cycling and numerous other sports
